Changhua Christian Hospital is a pioneering medical center in Taiwan that has been at the forefront of implementing smart hospital technologies and equipment. Currently, Changhua Christian Hospital is undergoing the construction of the 7th building. Drawing on years of experience in smart hospital initiatives, the hospital aims to integrate new technologies such as AI into its equipment and applications, with the goal of creating innovative services and experiences centered around patients.
Scenario Lab conducts on-site visits to observe the activities involving healthcare professionals, patients, family members, and other key stakeholders. It explores the intelligence behind value delivery in Changhua Christian Hospital and aims to understand the current applications of smart hospital technology developed by Changhua Christian Hospital and Yuanlin Christian Hospital, as well as the users' interactive experiences. Scenario Lab guides cross-departmental collaboration by "Start-Adapt-evolve-conclude". We aim to co-create and develop a more caring healthcare experience. Our goal is to deliver a comprehensive accurate services, providing patients and their families who enter Changhua Christian Hospital with a medical journey that covers their entire healthcare process, from their home, arrival at the hospital, admission, consultation, payment, hospitalization, surgery, and discharge. Innovation touchpoints are distributed throughout the hospital lobby, smart clinics, and smart ward.
Through the "source-knowledge-action-transformation" framework, this patient-centered project holistically experienced the innovative transformation cycle. It is a successful service experience design. The creative 7th building will drive excellent healthcare in central Taiwan!
