The preliminary selection results for the 2025 Golden Pin Concept Design Award are in! This year, the award received outstanding entries from 21 regions, including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, the United States, India, South Korea, the UK, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Russia, Israel, Spain, France, Austria, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Latvia, and Vietnam.

After intense competition, 27 entries stood out and were awarded the Golden Pin Concept Design Award Mark, in recognition of their innovative potential and value for the future. Among them, 11 entries have advanced to the final selection and will compete for the award’s highest honor—Best Design of the Year.

The Golden Pin Concept Design Award encourages bold and innovative proposals, seeking out future possibilities from ideas that have yet to be realized. Over the years, it has become a vital launchpad for emerging designers and startups to bring their creativity to life and move closer to the market.

The final selection will take place on Tuesday, August 26, at the Creative Theater, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei. Each finalist will have the chance to deliver an in-person presentation to the jury. Three Best Design of the Year winners will each receive NT$300,000.

The 2025 Golden Pin Concept Design Award will be celebrated alongside the Golden Pin Design Award in a joint ceremony this December at the Taipei Performing Arts Center. The nominees for Best Design of the Year will be announced prior to the event.
