The spine mimics the vertical signage on Cantonese tenement pillars, and the title, in large Northern Wei-style script, is handwritten by Hong Kong calligrapher Wong Suen-yau. The book's dimensions follow the traditional Tung Shing almanac, with PUR binding for full lay-flat spreads. Each copy includes a map of historic local shops and a paper bag from Cheung Heung Café.
