A well-designed city wayfinding system should be universal, easy to understand, and consistent. At the same time, it should reflect the city’s character, shape the streetscape, and express the city’s core values. The Tainan City Wayfinding System was developed with this in mind, aiming to establish a wayfinding framework centered on cultural orientation, supplemented by transportation and everyday navigation.
