COPPO BOARD is a solid panel for interior architecture (wall cladding and other interior elements) made from residual textile waste. Where most textile recycling depend on clean, sorted feedstock, coppoboard addresses the fraction everyone else discards the fraction everyone else discards: the short-fibre, mixed-composition, chemically finished waste that makes up roughly 40% of what Indonesian textile production generates. Of the ~120 million tonnes of clothing discarded globally each year, close to 80% is landfilled or incinerated.
