Using Si Se Pai as its primary medium, Yangzhai combines photography, collected objects, and hand-cut joss paper to preserve fragments of everyday life. Beginning in my family’s living room, the project examines how faith, leisure, and daily interactions connect a community, while reflecting on the transmission of local culture across generations.
