Inspired by Shen Wen-Cheng’s classic song Going to Taitung (來去台東), A/B Side Music Project reimagines contemporary Taitung through two new songs. Drawing on the cassette tape’s A/B-side structure, where both sides share the same magnetic tape, the project transforms “coming” and “going” into an interconnected dual narrative. Through the integration of music, imagery, and packaging design, the cassette becomes a medium for carrying local memory, movement, and belonging.
