The owner plans to develop land in their hometown for income and to raise local awareness of its value. A monthly rental dormitory is planned first, as the town's quiet nature and few tourists make hotels seem unprofitable. We found that the town, one of Thailand's oldest, has little documented history due to deteriorated evidence. Our hotel design highlights the community's effort to value remaining historical traces instead of seeking lost artifacts.
