After 15 years of reconstruction, the Alishan Forest Railway proudly reopened and debuted the Formosensis. The train features windows crafted from native Taiwanese woods, red cypress and hinoki, framing the landscape like a moving museum showcasing the art of the forest. Passengers are immersed in ever-changing views of the biodiversity and the varying temperatures through 3 distinct elevations, paired with interactive experiences designed to share the story of the mountain's rich history.
