High Street Studios (HSS) is a creative community space in downtown Kuala Lumpur, transformed from a former backpackers’ hostel. It combines retail, studios, and a public pocket park. The visual identity draws from the architectural features of pre-war shophouses, using an “H” mark to unify signage and wayfinding. HSS reflects a thoughtful approach to urban regeneration, cultural continuity, and support for local creativity and sustainable lifestyles.
