The book uses an eleven-volume structure to present four decades of tattoo culture in Taiwan. A body-based slipcase and modular system divide content into connected volumes focused on artists or contexts, enabling multiple readings. Full-bleed imagery, translucent paper, and tracing-paper frontispieces shift reading from surface to embodied experience. The slipcase is an empty arm of white space and corrugated board, opening to dense tattoo imagery that contrasts absence with saturation.
