This work challenges classical anatomical frameworks and reimagines the human form, turning an anatomy textbook into an participatory and expandable art object. Lightweight paper layers create the diversity of the gender spectrum. The gatefold design immerses readers in the surgical process of opening the body, symbolizes the transition of gender identity. Mirror-ink creates an intimate space for self-exploration. Queer theory was turned into a multi-layered, sensory reading experience.
