For its 2025 annual event, TEDxPetalingStreet introduced the theme "GRIT". Inspired by the Chinese notion of 乘風破浪 — "riding the wind and breaking the waves", the theme is shown through a visual system of crooked curves and distorted lines. Grounded in TEDx red, the shifting forms reflect progress shaped by resistance through time. Applied across posters, social media and on-stage motion graphics, the system frames TEDx as a space where ideas are continuously challenged and transformed.
