“From Shipyard to Workplace” reimagines a derelict shipyard along the Perak River into a sustainable headquarters for an oil palm plantation company and a community hub. The design restores an existing big-span roof and introduces a series of pavilions arranged around courtyard to improve daylight, ventilation, and spatial flow. Passive cooling, shading layers, and greenery respond to the tropical climate, while earthy red tones subtly reflect the plantation identity and industrial heritage.
