We use the Yilan folk saying, "When Turtle Island wears a hat, heavy rain is coming," as a design inspiration, initiating a project for reusing marine waste. By collecting trash from the northeast coast in Yilan, after cleaning and sorting it, we then shred and compress it into plastic recycled panels. And then cut it into the Turtle island wearing a hat's shape, which with unique colors of each keychain because of varying colors of marine waste.
