Collaborating with Manuel and Isabelle Der Hagopian, “Pink Chilli in a Bowl" is a subjective survey of forgotten places and time-honoured buildings in Singapore. We organised their information based on the contrasts between flâneur and archivist, chaos and structure. This guided the book's design, with interplay between light, paper, and space traversing between strong typography and grid-based layout. Translucent paper enhanced folds and light, mimicking a journal with reverse printing.
