Little Figure High Chair can be flexibly adjusted to follow the growth of kids, being useful even in their adulthood, and easily accommodating various body shapes. Its aesthetical shape has smooth, simplified, and modern lines, which match various styles of home decoration and are not easy to be outdated.
Compared with doing designs only for kids, designer Xinyu Weng has a deeper interest in "respecting kids’ independent personality, caring for them but not treating them differently." He was named “Top 50 German designers” by the magazine AD Germany, and his works won the 2018 German Design Award and were nominated for the 2020 UK Dezeen Awards. In 2015, he established his design studio YUUE in Berlin.
Different from other kid chairs that can only be adjusted in height, its seat’s and pedal’s height can be adjusted in 4 levels, so that kids of different ages and heights can get good support and their feet won’t hang in the air. The seat’s depth can also be adjusted by pushing and pulling the panel back and forth so that people of different body shapes can lean on the back of the chair and sit comfortably. The design of inverted Y-shaped chair legs makes the distance between legs longer so the stressed area is larger, enhancing stability. The large enough 3D-curved seat board and the curved backrest can satisfy the sitting feeling of different body shapes too.
The operation to adjust its seat and panel is simple by loosening 2 screws. There is also a hole especially for inserting a wrench under the seat plate, completing storage easily.
Comfortable sitting feelings, easy operation ways, and aesthetical outline make Little Figure High Chair a friendly chair for kids and families, satisfying changing needs of kids as they grow and accompanying families for a long.
