The Chiayi venue at the 2022 Taiwan Cultural Expo embodies the unique cultural concept of Chiayi through the visual system of the exhibition. By presenting several iconic designs to trace its history back and encouraging modern discussions and contemplations.

Time Engraving Type throughout the exhibition is inspired by the handwriting of Showa Era and the light shines towards the Tropic of Cancer. Each character is like the free figures of people roaming around Chiayi from the Japanese rule period to today. The lines of the type are cut horizontally on all sides, and the shadows follow different postures at different times. Those combinations with the various colors of the different exhibition themes provide a variable identification of the extended visual system of the exhibition.

In line with the theme of the wooden spatial and light of the exhibition, the visual seek the carrier of light to turn light into tangible; the transparent background is used to present the information of the exhibition, and the transparent material is used to create a map-like propaganda, so that the light scene of Chiayi can be felt and seen. It can also be folded and stored in a booklet, layer by layer, to pass to the baptism of the small city, and become a pass to the time tunnel to collect Chiayi's past and present. The gradually blooming color paper can be stacked on the corresponding theme words to increase the function and interactivity of reading information, tracing the feeling of "light" in concrete terms with various methods and materials.
