The Giving Tree is a 43-year-old house with ramshackle appearance and illegal parts. The new owner indented the protruding part and laid out a two-step height platform.
To harmonize, we use white stainless iron. The code disallows the door entry from installing a fixed rail, we use a sliding door. We built an outdoor patio to re-invite light and rain. A wall of weathering steel plate grows a brick-red rust over time, acting as a visual finishing touch to the white indoors.
