"Road to the World Heritage"
The Heritage City of Songkhla has a history of more than 200 years. The heritage city has developed through 3 important roads- Nakhon Nok Road is a road adjacent to the lake. In the past, this area used to be a trading port and transporting goods from abroad. There is a large rice mill. Songkhla people called it the Red Mill, located on the edge of Songkhla Lake . - Nakhon Nai Road is the middle road. An important place is Ban Nakhon Nai, a value-added conservation museum. Baan Nakhon Nai is an ancient Chinese wooden house.- Nang Ngam Road is the location of a sacred place that is the spiritual center of Thai-Chinese people. These 3 streets have a variety of architectural features created by cultural exchanges with foreigners, such as Chinese architecture buildings. The sino-European architecture combined with contemporary architecture. These architectures all have different beauty, making the old city of Songkhla a learning center for architecture, culture, and way of life.

The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA Thaksin) together with Songkhla Heritage Trust (a non-profit organization), Muslim Architects for the Community (MAFC), Researchers, Businessmen, Merchants, and Villagers work together to promote the old city of Songkhla to be a UNESCO World Heritage City.

"Secrets of Songkhla" is an annual celebration of the old city of Songkhla 2023 Organized by The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (Asa Thaksin) to promote learning about the old City of Songkhla, such as the history of the City, ancient gates, and ancient walls and there are speakers about the work of architects who renovate the old building.
