The old hotel located in the city center area, which has been abandoned for many years, has undergone renovation and has become a newly designed office in Mowen Space.Buildings will also fade away, just like people, accumulating the charm and calm atmosphere of years, and the significance of design is to give new vitality to ancient buildings.
Design comes by surrounding the “harmony” of city and space, in one relative quiet “private spade” in the busy center area of downtown, the key points of the design comes to the harmony of buildings’ appearance and city, as well as that of outside and inside of the buildings themselves.
The original building is a resort hotel that has been abandoned for more than 20 years. It is full of the immersion of wind and frost, has been long for years out of repair, and the space is dilapidated. The design follows the appearance structure of the original building. It is far more challenging to start with the repair and reinforcement than to tear it down again. A fence is "framed" outside the original building, forming an open and relatively independent space feeling. The green plants inside the fence are shaded, to enhance the sense of privacy. At the same time, it supports each other with the green plants on the street outside the building, respecting the local feeling and closing the connection between space and the outside.
