Patamma, located in Nan, Northern Thailand, is an agro-tourism project with the concept revolves around several key ideas. Firstly, reforestation of the Nan forest is a priority, with trees planted from sprouts to restore the natural beauty of the area. Secondly, the architecture takes inspiration from the tides and flood levels, incorporating their shapes into the design. The result is a harmonious integration with the surrounding environment. Offering panoramic views of the Nan River, the project embraces the stunning natural landscape.
Rammed-earth walls, constructed using the soil from the site, form the main structural element of the villas and restaurant. This sustainable approach ensures a connection to the earth while providing a sense of warmth and authenticity. The unique shape of the villas draws inspiration from river stones found on the site, reflecting the natural elements of the area. The design also pays homage to Thai northern vernacular architectural villages, blending tradition with contemporary sensibilities.
The highlight of Patamma is its breathtaking panoramic views of the Nan River. The project strategically situates the villas and restaurant to maximize this visual splendor. Guests can immerse themselves in the tranquil ambiance, enjoying the serene beauty of the river and its surroundings. Patamma offers an enchanting experience, seamlessly blending nature, architecture, and culture, inviting visitors to connect with the essence of Northern Thailand.
