Presented by Our Theatre, “Palaces” tells ten mysterious stories that happened in the Jincaishen building.

This film explores the concept of “yin and yang”, which echos the relationship of cause and effect. The animation integrates the visual elements of calligraphy ink splashes, yin and yang with Taiwanese street scenes. Starting from “ying”, we pass through the alleys that emerge from the ink and intertwined wires. Amidst the blank of “yang”, we then see the whole picture of karma.
