In the past, the Hsinchu area became a hub for glass factories due to extensive extraction of natural gas and silica sand, which fueled the development of the glass industry. However, due to economic factors, the industry gradually faced challenges. In recent years, with the transformation of the Spring Pool Glass Industry and the growing emphasis on the concept of circular economy, the emergence of the "Galas" aims to leverage the power of the industry to introduce the public to different aspects of circular thinking.

Starting from the industry and connecting with the public, the project utilizes "glass" as a medium but does not confine ideas to material alone. Instead, it embraces an open-source approach centered around the concept of "transparency" and combines it with the principles of sustainable circularity. Through a business model that is friendly to nature, it encourages individuals to bring their own containers and reduce the use of disposable tableware. This enables the public to directly engage with the infinite value of sustainable circularity and mitigate the environmental harm caused by consumer behavior.
