The design of Chudong Parking Structure tries to respond to its chaotic surrounding with simplicity in form and clarity in geometry.
The building geometry is composed of two circular shear wall on two ends and a rectangle space in the middle. The louver exterior provides a visual reference to the Hakka Umbrella artifacts and the overall form was intended to be both light in tectonics and rich in cultural representations.
