In the past, in Taiwan, the long houses exemplified the harmonious coexistence of residential and street-level commercial activities. Now, in Tainan, due to changes in contemporary lifestyles and family relationship, there is a reevaluation to residential spaces characterized by the length. Moving away from the traditional two-story building to five-story building ,exploring designs that better accommodate modern living while embracing local characteristics.
