BASAO collaborated with the Japanese contemporary artist Araki Nobuyoshto to create a tea set by using his calligraphy work of the word "Mystery" and "Silence". And to present the meaning of these two words, we decided to used black and light grey to express the profound imagery of "mystery" and the implicit beauty of "silence". The combination of the artist’s free and arbitrary writing style breaks the boundary of calligraphy and present a perfect balance between exquisite and free-spirited.
